This thing is the best attachment I have for my kitchenaid mixer. Buy this if you have kids or grandkids. It makes great ice cream and is fun to make. No ice, No rock salt. Can I say more. Just freeze the bowl for 18 hours add ingredants and 30 minutes later you have soft serve ice cream. If you want hard pack, put in freezer for about 2 hours.

Easy to clean. I just keep mine in the freezer to use whenever I want. You will not regret this purchse.

i really do like this mixer. it is easy to use and pretty quick. mine came with instructions and recipes. i will say if you are making a lot of ice cream at once it will take some time. for the holidays i like to make 2 flavors to give more options and the refreexing of the bowl takes about 4 – 6 hours. my stand mixer is a little loud, so i don’t like to use it too late or while i am watching something really interesting on tv unless i have the music blasting.
